Synthesizer Music Production and the Management 3.0 Celebration Grid

My recent hobby is making music with synthesizers upstairs in the loft of my house. And most of the time I try out something new and it sounds really cool, but most of the time it doesn’t really hit the tone. Nevertheless, in both cases I have learned something new, either “Oh that really works well, I wanna even improve it” or “Damn, this isn’t really useful, lets try something else”.
That is exactly how learning and Kaizen is happening in our life, work, teams and organizations. (more…)

Empowerment at NuWorks with the example of Kumiko’s 4 years anniversary

Time flies! Kumiko, our co-worker at NuWorks works now already for 4 years here.
When she joined my company in 2017 her tasks were quite limited. She was mainly doing translation of workshop material and website translations. But as the business of NuWorks grew also her responsibilities grew. Nowadays she is doing all the marketing of NuWorks, managing and organization of workshops, being involved in the business development activities and even running her own workshops now.
I am pretty sure that without her engagement NuWorks could not have become what it is today. And Management 3.0 would not as successful in Japan as it is now. Thank you, Kumiko! 🙂

How a Team-building workshop improved my Work (a Success Story)

Today I am glad to share an interesting story about dSPACE, a German high-tech company operating in Japan. I am talking with Karsten Fischer, who is the Group Leader of two teams at dSPACE Japan. Karsten joined my Management 3.0 (Agile Leadership) and Lean Change Management workshop in November 2019. He started implementing Management 3.0 practices in his teams. At the beginning of this year, he approached NuWorks to organize a team-building, IKIGAI and vision building workshop with his teams.
